Cutting
Use sharp fabric scissors. Cut single layer when possible. Mark pattern pieces with tailor's chalk or washable markers.
Sewing
Use fine needles (size 9-11). French seams recommended. Test stitch tension on scraps first. Hand-finish delicate areas.
Pressing
Low heat with pressing cloth. Steam lightly if needed. Never iron directly on lace surface. Press seams carefully.
