Bridal Pattern Making & Wedding Dress Sampling · Shenzhen Studio
Your Sketch. My Factory. A Perfect Sample in 3-4 Weeks.
I'm Kimmy -- a bridal sourcing expert with 20+ years translating designer visions into flawless prototypes for names like Vera Wang and David's Bridal. Now I do it exclusively for indie designers like you.
If you've ever been ghosted by a factory, received a sample that looked nothing like your sketch, or been told your order is "too small" -- this is the service built to fix all of that. No massive MOQs. No guesswork. Just production-ready wedding dress samples backed by big-brand quality control.

Why Indie Designers Choose Kimmy
I Speak Both "Designer" and "Factory." Most People Only Speak One.
After two decades managing wedding dress sampling and pattern making for global brands, I know exactly where indie designers get burned: vague tech packs, factories that substitute fabrics, samples that arrive three sizes off, and zero accountability when things go wrong.
My role isn't just to "make a sample." I am your bridal sourcing partner in China -- the person who sits in the factory, reads the pattern, checks the seam tension, and sends you a video before a single stitch is cut wrong. I translate your sketch into a production-ready tech pack, source the exact French lace or silk satin you need (with no MOQ), and manage every revision until the sample is exactly right.
You keep 100% of your IP. You get a sample that's ready to photograph, sell, and scale into small batch wedding dress production -- all without a single factory visit.

How It Works
From Your Sketch to a Production-Ready Sample
A transparent, step-by-step process designed around how indie designers actually work -- not how big factories want you to work.
Design Review & NDA
Send me your sketches, reference images, or even rough ideas. I sign an NDA on day one. We review construction complexity, fabric suitability, and realistic timelines together.
Tech Pack & Pattern Making
I build your wedding dress tech pack -- every measurement, seam allowance, construction note, and trim detail. Master patterns are drafted by my in-house bridal pattern makers in Shenzhen.
Fabric Sourcing & Cutting
I source the exact premium lace, silk satin, or tulle your design requires -- no MOQ minimums for sampling. Every yard is inspected before it's cut.
Sample, QC & Delivery
Your sample is sewn, pressed, and put through my 7-step quality inspection. I send you video and photos for approval before shipping. Revisions included.

Common Questions
Answers to What Every Indie Designer Asks First
Do you own the intellectual property of my designs?
Absolutely not. You retain 100% ownership of your designs, patterns, and all intellectual property. Every project begins with a signed NDA. Your sketches, tech packs, and patterns are never shared, reused, or shown to other clients.
What's the minimum order for pattern making and sampling?
There is no minimum order quantity for sampling. You can start with a single sample. This is the entire reason I built this service -- because indie designers shouldn't need to commit to 100 units just to see if a design works.
I only have rough sketches -- can you still create a tech pack?
Yes, and this is one of the most common starting points. Send me your sketches, Pinterest boards, or reference photos. I'll translate everything into a factory-ready wedding dress tech pack -- measurements, construction notes, fabric callouts, and all. You don't need to know technical terminology.
Which bridal fabrics do you source, and can you get them without high MOQs?
I source premium French lace, Italian silk satin, soft tulle, organza, mikado, and specialty embroidered fabrics -- all with no MOQ for sampling. I have direct relationships with mills in Suzhou and Guangzhou that don't require the 50-100 metre minimums that most suppliers demand.
What happens after the sample is approved -- can you handle production?
Yes. Once your sample is approved, I can manage small batch wedding dress manufacturing from 5 to 20 pieces -- using the same factory, the same patterns, and the same quality standards. Your production cost breakdown is included in every package so you can plan ahead.
How is your quality control different from a standard factory?
Standard factories self-inspect. I inspect independently, using a 7-step QC system developed from 20+ years of managing production for major bridal brands. Every sample is checked for seam integrity, measurement accuracy, finish quality, and fabric consistency -- and you receive a video walkthrough before anything ships.
